Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: February 16, 2026
Welcome to Air Bird Travel (airbirdtravel.com). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or booking a flight. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.
1. Our Role as a Travel Agency
Air Bird Travel is a travel technology platform and agency based in the United States. We act as an intermediary (agent) between you and third-party travel providers, primarily airlines. We do not operate the flights ourselves. Your booking is subject to the specific terms and conditions of the airline you choose.
2. Booking and Accuracy
When you book a ticket through our website, you agree that:
- All information provided (names, dates, passport info) is accurate and matches your government-issued ID.
- You are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
- Any errors made during the booking process by the user may result in additional fees from the airline to correct.
3. Pricing and Payments
All prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change by the airline until the moment a ticket is officially issued. Air Bird Travel reserves the right to cancel a booking in the event of a genuine technical pricing error, in which case a full refund will be provided.
4. Cancellations and Changes
Every airline has its own rules regarding cancellations and modifications:
- Non-Refundable Fares: Many "Basic Economy" or promotional fares are non-refundable and non-changeable.
- Fees: If a change is permitted, the airline may charge a penalty fee plus any difference in airfare. Air Bird Travel may also charge a nominal processing fee for manual ticket handling.
- No-Shows: If you miss your flight without prior notice, the airline usually cancels the remaining segments of your itinerary without a refund.
5. Travel Documents and Health Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct travel documents, including valid passports, visas, and health/entry permits. Air Bird Travel is not responsible if you are denied boarding or entry into a country due to missing documentation.
6. Limitation of Liability
Air Bird Travel is not liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, or any special, exemplary, punitive, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind which arise out of or are in any way connected with:
- The performance or non-performance of an airline (delays, cancellations, strikes).
- Acts of God, weather conditions, or global health emergencies.
- The failure of an airline to provide promised services (WiFi, meals, seat upgrades).
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use this site for any speculative, false, or fraudulent bookings. You also agree not to use any automated "bots" or scrapers to access our data without written permission from Air Bird Travel.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any legal disputes arising from the use of Air Bird Travel shall be handled within the jurisdiction of the U.S. court system.
Questions?
If you have any questions regarding these terms, please contact our support team at info@airbirdtravel.com.
9. Flight Schedule Changes & Cancellations by Airline
Airlines reserve the right to change their flight schedules, aircraft types, or routes at any time. Air Bird Travel is not responsible for any expenses incurred (such as prepaid hotel bookings or car rentals) due to airline-initiated changes. While we will notify you of significant changes via the email provided at booking, it is your responsibility to re-confirm your flight status 24 to 48 hours before departure directly with the airline.
10. Credit Card Chargebacks & Disputes
By booking with Air Bird Travel, you agree to contact our customer support team to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback with your bank. If you initiate a chargeback for a validly processed transaction (such as a non-refundable fare that you simply chose not to use), Air Bird Travel reserves the right to recover the full amount of the chargeback plus any legal or administrative fees incurred in defending the dispute.
11. Duplicate Bookings
Please ensure you do not make multiple bookings for the same traveler on the same dates. Airlines often detect duplicate bookings and may cancel all itineraries without notice and without providing a refund. Air Bird Travel is not liable for cancellations resulting from duplicate bookings made by the user.
12. Baggage Policies & Fees
Baggage allowances vary by airline and fare class. Many "Basic Economy" tickets do not include checked bags or even overhead carry-on space. Any fees for baggage, seat selection, or in-flight meals are paid directly to the airline and are not included in the base fare shown on airbirdtravel.com unless explicitly stated otherwise.
13. Travel Insurance Recommendation
Because many flight tickets are non-refundable and travel can be unpredictable, Air Bird Travel strongly recommends that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance. This can protect you against financial loss due to trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. We are not an insurance provider and are not liable for any claims denied by your insurance company.
14. Force Majeure
Air Bird Travel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government regulations, natural disasters, or pandemics.
15. Contact for Legal Notices
All formal legal notices regarding these Terms and Conditions must be sent in writing to our registered U.S. business address or via certified email to: info@airbirdtravel.com.
