Refund Policy

At Air Bird Travel, we strive to make your travel planning as stress-free as possible. We understand that plans can change, and we are committed to helping you navigate the cancellation and refund process. Please review our policy below regarding ticket refunds and service fees.
1. Airline Policy Supremacy
As a travel agency, Air Bird Travel facilitates bookings between you and the airline. Therefore, all refunds are subject to the specific fare rules, terms, and conditions of the airline providing the transportation.
- If the airline marks a fare as "Non-Refundable," Air Bird Travel cannot override this policy to issue a cash refund.
- In many cases, non-refundable tickets may be eligible for a "Future Flight Credit" per the airline’s discretion.
2. The 24-Hour Cancellation Window
In accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations, most tickets for flights to or from the United States may be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided the booking was made at least seven (7) days prior to the flight’s scheduled departure. Please contact our support team immediately if you wish to cancel within this window.
3. Airline-Initiated Cancellations
If an airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change, you are generally entitled to a full refund. In such events, Air Bird Travel will work directly with the carrier to ensure your refund is processed as quickly as possible.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are generally non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Service fees and processing fees charged by Air Bird Travel at the time of booking.
- Partial use of a ticket (e.g., using the outbound flight but not the return).
- "No-show" tickets where the passenger fails to check in before the airline's deadline.
5. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted in writing. Please email info@airbirdtravel.com with your Booking ID and the passenger's name. Once submitted:
- We will verify the fare rules with the airline.
- We will notify you of the eligible refund amount (minus any airline penalties).
- Once approved by the airline, the refund will be credited back to your original form of payment.
6. Processing Time
While we submit refund requests to airlines immediately, it may take 7 to 14 business days for the airline to process the funds and for your bank to reflect the credit on your statement.
